At the time of sentencing on April 17, 2020, prosecutors will recommend that Adams be sentenced to eight years New Jersey State Prison with a 48 month period of parole ineligibility.<\/p>\n<p>The case stems from July 20, 2018, when Barnegat Township police stopped a vehicle being operated by Adams, who had been observed by the police to have committed &#8220;various motor vehicle infractions,&#8221; the statement said.
