There\u2019s a new judge in town. Longtime Toms River Municipal Court Judge James A. Liguori<\/span><\/span>, who served on the bench for 37 years, retired last week. Ligouri also served as the presiding municipal court judge for Ocean County.<\/p>\n

In Toms River municipal court, he will be replaced by Judge James J. Gluck<\/span><\/span>. Gluck presented his colleague with a Lifetime Achievement Award from the Ocean County Judge\u2019s Association last week after his final court session.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

The township council formally appointed Gluck to the position on Tuesday.<\/p>\n

\u201cI wish Judge Ligouri well, and I know Judge Gluck will do a good job,\u201d said Councilwoman Maria Maruca.<\/p>\n

According to township officials, Ligouri earned $130,655 in the position. Gluck will earn $105,000.<\/p>\n
