For the Heat Advisory Wednesday, heat index values of 100 to 105 are expected. For the Excessive Heat Watch Thursday, dangerously hot conditions with heat index values of 105 to 110 degrees are possible, according to a statement from the NWS office in Mount Holly.<\/p>\n<p>The advisories will run from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday. The NWS warned that \u201cextreme heat and humidity will significantly increase the potential for heat related illnesses, particularly for those working or participating in outdoor activities.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>There is no respite in sight, according to the latest forecast. Wednesday\u2019s high will be <strong>94<\/strong> degrees, Thursday\u2019s high will be <strong>96<\/strong> degrees, Friday\u2019s high will be <strong>95<\/strong> degrees, and Saturday\u2019s high will also top out at <strong>95<\/strong> degrees.
