(Photo: Daniel Nee)<\/p><\/div>\n<p>A pipe that will carry sand from a dredge boat to the shore has been installed in Ortley Beach.<\/p>\n<p>The pipe extends from the beachfront at 7th Avenue, just south of the former Surf Club building, into the water and out to sea. Offshore, there is a connector which crews hook up to a dredge boat, which pumps sand through the pipe and onto shore.
