(Photo: Daniel Nee)<\/p><\/div>\n<p>Toms River officials announced this week that the Bey Lea golf course, owned by the municipality, will close for the season this weekend.<\/p>\n<p>The course will close this Sunday, Dec. 11, 2022 at 4:30 p.m.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe will reopen in the spring of 2023,\u201d the announcement said. \u201cWe would like to thank all of our loyal patrons for their continued support. We wish everyone a healthy and happy holiday season and we look forward to seeing you in the spring!\u201d<\/p>\n<p>According to township records, by the end of November, the course had generated $1,652,054 in revenue. The 2022 total, at the time, had eclipsed the year-to-date total from 2021, which was $1,567,297.
