The storm had also carved mini \u201cchannels\u201d along the beach in Seaside Heights, though the surf was nowhere near reaching the dunes or boardwalk.<\/p>\n<p>The weather is forecast to change significantly over the weekend, though winds will linger. The National Weather Service forecast \u201cSunny skies, with a high near 42\u201d on Saturday.
