A Toms River developer is seeking approval from the township’s subdivide a parcel of land on Old Freehold Road into multiple lots on which single family homes will be developed.
According to a notice filed with the planning board, the corporate entity 1866 Old Freehold LLC will seek approval to divide the property at the address which bears its name into six buildable lots. Variances are required for insufficient lot depth for five of the six proposed lots, each of which would be developed with a single family home.
The property is located along the west side of Old Freehold Road, roughly halfway between Silverton Road and White Oak Bottom Road, just north of Carmen Court. The developer will also propose variances and design waivers for the future homes at the same hearing, which will be held March 4, 2026 at 6 p.m. at the township municipal complex on Washington Street.
