A lucky player who purchased a lottery ticket at a Toms River convenience store hit the $1.3 million jackpot, state lottery officials announced Friday.
The ticket, sold at the Country Farms store located 193 Route 70 West and Whitesville Road, matched all five balls in Thursday’s Jersey Cash 5 drawing for the $1,332,203 jackpot. The winning numbers were 06, 27, 41, 43 and 44. The Bullseye was 43 and the XTRA was 02.
In addition to the jackpot, 44 players matched four out of five balls and the Bullseye to win $500 each. Among those players, 12 multiplied those prizes to $1,000 by playing the XTRA. The retailer that sold the ticket will receive $2,000.
The jackpot was reset to $150,000 ahead of Friday’s drawing.
