There was not much in the way of surprises on the barrier island in this year’s municipal elections, with incumbents and Republican nominees garnering the majority of votes. Here’s how the results turned out town-by-town, and who islanders voted for in the county and statewide elections. Winners are italicized.

Michael Stogdill (Incumbent/Republican): 834 Votes
George Shenewolf (Appointed Incumbent/Republican): 705 Votes
Karen Lamb (Independent): 412 Votes
