Toms River Township’s annual Memorial Day parade will be held Monday, May 26 to honor members of the armed forces who gave the ultimate sacrifice in defense of their country.
According to an announcement from the township, the annual parade will kick off Monday, May 26, 2025 at 9 a.m. beginning at the Office Lounge restaurant at 820 Main Street. The event will run until 11 a.m., proceeding along Main Street (Route 166) to Washington Street near the municipal building.
The parade will feature numerous military vehicles, elected officials, civic groups, first responders, local high school marching bands and a showcase of vintage cars. A ceremony will be held at the end of the parade, and residents are invited to set up along the route to cheer on the marchers.
The parade is hosted by American Legion Post 129, based in town, and is also organized by the township’s Veterans’ Committee.
