Kentucky Derby Party Planned to Benefit Tri-Boro First Aid Squad

A Kentucky Derby party is being planned to raise funds for the Tri-Boro First Aid Squad, organizers said this week.

The party will, of course, take place on Derby Day, May 4, beginning at 4:30 p.m. at the squad building at J Street and Central Avenue. Tickets are $50 each and can be purchased at Stefanik Realtors at “L” Street and Central Avenue.

Chef Greg Manning from Half Moon Point Restaurant will prepare a buffett dinner. There will be a “Mint Julep” fixins bar. Door prizes will be awarded for the “Hat Parade” winners and Derby Race winners. There will also be many other door prizes, organizers said.

The deadline to purchase tickets is April 28. Before heading to the real estate office to purchase tickets, those who wish at attend are asked to call Judy at 732-793-0812 or Sue at 732-250-6472.
