Ocean County will be milling and paving Ocean Avenue this week, with equipment having been staged yesterday and much of the work beginning Tuesday.
The work area consists of the swath of roadway between Porter Avenue and North Avenue. This project will begin at approximately 7 a.m. daily and continue throughout the day for “several days,” depending on weather.
“Please expect delays as property access will be limited during this operation,” the announcement said. “If necessary, you may want to make alternate parking arrangements as no vehicles will be permitted to stay on the road during this time.”
Residents were asked to be assured that any repairs needed as a result of the project will be handled by the Area Supervisor in a timely manner once the project is completed. Anyone with questions of concerns about the project can contact the Ocean County Road Department at 732-929-2133.
