Officials: Seaside Heights Memorial Board and Bench Pickup Deadline is Sept. 20

As the Seaside Heights boardwalk has been replaced in phases over the last two years, many of the memorial boards and benches that have had to be replaced along with it have been saved so friends and family members of those they were dedicated to can save them. Officials said recently that pickups must occur by Sept. 20, 2025 – this Saturday.

The boards and benches are stored in the parking lot of the Carousel Pavilion at Ocean Terrace and Sampson Avenue. The lot will be open this Saturday, Sept. 20, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. for pickups.

Those who cannot make the Saturday pickup period can make an arrangement for a “custom” pickup time by calling 732-830-3700 or e-mailing memorialboards@exit82.com.
