The annual “Wine on the Beach” festival will return to Seaside Height this weekend, under the theme of an “international wine tasting” event.
Wine on the Beach will be held this Saturday, Sept. 6 from 12 noon to 5 p.m. at the Blaine Avenue beach. In addition to numerous wineries offering their tastings and bottles, there will be an artisan craft show and a free ’70s Rock Parade concert at 3 p.m. Admission is $25, and allows access to more than 20 wine purveyors from around the world, plus access to the beachfront concert. Those who buy tickets early also receive a custom souvenir tote bag.
The organizers are also selling a $45 VIP experience, which includes an exclusive sampling of “hard to find” wines, a tasting tent on the beach, a souvenir wine glass, an insulated chill wine tote, and special access to the concert area in addition to all of the wine tastings available with general admission.
Wine vendors include:
- B Bath
- Bee Stamped
- Colours of Rain
- Drunken Fruit
- Gracie Moo Candles
- Island Talk USA
- Jerky James
- Jersey Girl Chocolate
- Odd Job Salvage
- Pelican Shop
- The Hangover Pretzel Company
Attendees must be 21 or older to sample wine. Non-samplers age 21 and older and those under 21 are admitted free. Tickets are non-refundable. The rain date for the event is Sunday, Sept. 7. Admission to the concert venue is free. More information can be found online and tickets can be purchased online as well.
