Seaside Heights is seeking the public’s help in tracking down a group of young men who were photographed vandalizing boardwalk equipment on the Seaside Heights boardwalk over the weekend.
The men were seen scribbling some sort of writing with a Sharpie-style marker on garbage cans and other new pieces of equipment that include newly-decorative photos of town.
“After committing their crime, they were observed walking toward Seaside Park,” Borough Administrator Christopher Vaz posted along with security photos. Anyone who recognizes the men is urged to contact administrator@seaside-heightsnj.org with pertinent information, which will be forwarded to detectives.
The offense appears to be a third degree crime in New Jersey, Vaz said.
