Brick officials on Tuesday night voted to raise prices for boat slips and other services at Traders Cove Marina for the first time since 2023, but simple ramp fees remain the same.
Backdated from April 15, 2026, fees will rise for summer slip fees, summer jet-ski docks, transient docking and other services offered at the facility on Mantoloking Road.
Under the updated tiered pricing, a new category of boats up to 25 feet will pay $110 per foot, while larger vessels also will garner new pricing. Boats from 26 to 40 feet will be charged $125 per foot and those over 40 feet $140 per foot. Brick residents will receive a $5-per-foot discount with proof of residency. The new schedule also sets frog hook fees at $800 per season and a flat $1,500 per season for boats with an 8-foot beam or less. Summer jet ski docks are priced at $1,200 per dock for Brick residents and $1,500 for non-residents.

Transient dock fees saw some adjustments. The new rates set $75 per night for boats up to 40 feet and $95 per night for those over 40 feet, including electric and water. Previously, the township listed $55 per night for boats up to 30 feet, $65 up to 35 feet, $75 up to 40 feet and $95 over 40 feet.
Daily boat ramp passes remain unchanged at $10 one way for residents and $20 for non-residents, as do season passes at $150 for residents, $300 for non-residents and $300 for commercial users. Several trailer storage options appear newly detailed or adjusted, including seasonal trailer-only storage at $350, monthly at $50, weekly at $25, overnight trailer-only at $5 and trailer with vehicle overnight at $10. Boat-on-trailer seasonal storage was set at $35 per foot, summer land storage at $50 per foot and kayak or stand-up paddleboard storage at $125 per box for residents and $150 for non-residents.
Winter storage rates increased across categories for the Nov. 1 to March 31 period. Slip customers and residents will pay $35 per foot, up from about $30 previously. Non-slip customers will be charged $40 per foot, up from about $32. Boat-on-trailer storage rises to $25 per foot for residents and $30 for non-residents, compared with a prior $20 flat rate for trailer storage.
Boat lifting and hauling fees were also updated. Short haul with block and re-launch will cost $11 per foot, within the previous range of $9.50 to $11.50, but now fixed at a flat price. Other services include short haul and block only at $9 per foot, lift onto or off trailer at $10 per foot, reset blocks at $5 per foot and lift and hold in slings at $8 per foot. Power washing rises to $5 per foot from the previous $3, while a combined power wash and acid wash was set at $5 per foot.
Township officials have not publicly detailed the reasons for the increases, which come after fees were last broadly addressed in a 2014 ordinance, though adjusted in 2023. The new rates will apply throughout the 2026 season. The new rates were adopted with a unanimous vote by the council.
