Brick officials have moved two roadway resurfacing projects forward, one entering the bidding phase and the other receiving a contract award.
Council members, at their last meeting, authorized consulting engineer Pennoni Associates to prepare formal bid specifications for the Midstreams Roadway Resurfacing project covering Nottingham Drive, Midstreams Place, Winchester Drive, Green Tree Road, and Lorraine Place. The township will now advertise for bids, setting the stage for contractors to submit proposals in the near future. The project includes milling and paving, as well as drainage and curbing improvements on the streets.
In a separate resolution, the council awarded the contract for the Lions Head South Roadway Resurfacing Program to Meco, Inc., of, Clarksburg, in the amount of $614,873. Sealed bids for the program had been received on June 16, 2026, and reviewed by ARH Associates. The project includes Laurel Lane South, Gallo Lane, Tennis Court, Abbey Road, Carter Way, Yorkwood Drive and Ashford Drive. Like the Midstreams effort, the project consists of the milling and paving of roadways and drainage improvements.
