A day after Toms River police released the photo of a man they say stole a credit card from a nurse who was working at Community Medical Center, they’ve caught their suspect.
After receiving tips based on a photo released Friday, Donald Talley, 35, of South Main Street in South Toms River was arrested by Manchester Patrol Officer Joseph Fastige, who developed information as to where Talley was staying within his town, said police spokesman Ralph Stocco. He was arrested by Fastige and then transferred to the custody of the Toms River Police Department where he was charged with theft and credit card fraud. He was released on $5,000 cash bail.
“This is a reminder that the average citizen can make an impact on their community by having a willingness to get involved,” said Stocco. “It also shows the importance of police agencies in neighboring towns working together.”
