The folks at Brick’s Visitation Relief Center are seeking votes in the YMCA’s Fresh Page Project so they can win $5,000 toward two of their ongoing charitable efforts – the Food Warriors and the Eco Warriors of Brick.
As part of the YMCA’s project, website visitors can vote once a day, each day in October, and the project that receives the most votes in certain categories can win $5,000, $1,000 or $500 grants.
The Visitation Relief Center was formed in the wake of Superstorm Sandy and has expanded to many areas of local volunteer efforts, including an ongoing campaign to provide food for those who cannot afford it, and a volunteer team that undertakes environmental cleanup projects in Brick Township and surrounding towns.
