NJ Hall of Fame Mobile Museum Coming to Summerfest Tonight

The New Jersey Hall of Fame Mobile Museum will be rolling up to Brick’s Summerfest celebration Thursday night, featuring historical displays on influential New Jerseyans who have shaped the Garden State.

The event begins at 6 p.m. at Windward Beach Park.  The museum will give attendees the opportunity to learn more about the influential New Jersey men and women “who made invaluable contributions to the state and the world in arts, business, sports and science,” a statement from Mayor John Ducey said.

“We are excited to have the Mobile Museum visit Summerfest this week,” said Ducey. “It will be a great addition to the night and will give everyone the chance to learn more about our great state and important figures in our state’s history.”

Designed by famed architect and NJHOF inductee Michael Graves, and renowned museum exhibition designer, Ralph Appelbaum Associates, the Mobile Museum offers a dramatic multimedia exhibition created around the theme — “Make a Difference.” Through images, artifacts, film, and interactive elements, visitors can explore the ways that Hall of Fame inductees have changed the state and the world.

Beyond the Mobile Museum, Thursday’s Summerfest event will feature the Bronx Wanderers performing at the park, followed by fireworks.
