Snow Forecast for Shore Area, But ‘Little to No’ Accumulation Expected

Sorry, snow lovers. You might get to see flakes falling one last time this spring, but there won’t be much – or anything – in the way of accumulation, forecasters say.

According to the National Weather Service, rain Thursday will give way to partly sunny skies Friday, with the next storm system heading in between Friday night and Saturday morning. A snow and rain mix could begin after 3 a.m. Saturday morning with little to no accumulations predicted.

There is a chance of snow before 7 a.m. Saturday, then rain and snow likely between 7 a.m. and 10 a.m., changing to all rain after 10 a.m. Saturday’s high will be near 41. East wind 8 to 15 mph becoming west in the afternoon. Winds could gust as high as 29 m.p.h. Chance of precipitation is 60%. Little or no snow accumulation expected.

For Saturday night, there is a chance of snow before 2 a.m., though it will be mostly cloudy, with a low around 27 and blustery.
