The Brick Township Council will meet Tuesday night and, according to a meeting agenda, take a vote on whether to introduce an ordinance restricting parking on a number of streets in town.
The three affected streets would be Duquesne Boulevard, North Lake Shore Drive and Lafayette Drive. On both sides of all three streets, parking would not be permitted between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. The restrictions would be in effect for the entire length of Duquesne. On North Lake Shore, the restrictions would be between Duquesne and Bethany Lane, and on Lafayette, the restrictions would be between Duquesne and Bates Way.
The ordinance is up for introduction Tuesday, meaning a public hearing and second vote would be required before the regulations could be formally enacted.
