(File Photo) Christmas tree collections in Brick start this week and correspond to the day on which residents’ recycling is picked up. Here’s the schedule, according to the township. If your recycling pickup is: Wednesday – Collection period is January 6-8. Thursday – Collection period is January 9-13. Friday – Collection period is January 14-16. Monday – Collection period is January 17-22. Tuesday – Collection period is January 23-27. The Christmas trees are turned into mulch and soil, which is available for free for residents at the township recycling center on Ridge Road.
