Well, it was nice while it lasted!
A taste of summer in November over the weekend into Monday will give way to high temperatures that will not make it out of the 50s for the next two days, according to the National Weather Service. Meanwhile, as the year pulls to a close, the “fall back” change over the weekend has the sun setting at just 4:49 p.m. Shorebeat took a ride on the water to enjoy the mild day, and catch some pretty scenes from the all-too-early sunset. According to the National Weather Service, sunny skies will continue Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, but temperatures will be more seasonal. The highs will be 56, 56 and 63, respectively, for the next three days. Overnight lows will hover in the mid-to-high 40s.
The NWS forecast predicts periods of heavy rain for Friday (Veterans’ Day) and Saturday, likely from a subtropical system that will first affect the east coast of Florida. The rain will begin Friday afternoon and continue into Saturday night. The NWS expects temperatures to increase to the high 60s Friday, Saturday and Sunday, however a cold front will move in Sunday night, limiting the mercury to just 49 degrees for a high next Monday.
