Brick Township officials have announced this year’s senior vendor and resource fair will be held at Traders Cove Marina and Park next month.
The outdoor event will take place Wednesday, Sept. 18 from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at the park, located off Mantoloking Road beside the bridge.
The fair is a special event designed for residents ages 60 and over, as well as caregivers. It will feature local agencies and merchants that serve older residents and caregivers who will provide information on the services, resources, products and more that are available.

“We always have a great turnout,” said Councilwoman Heather deJong. “There are a ton of township vendors as well as out-of-town resources for our seniors.”
In addition to private businesses, representatives from local, county, state and federal governments and agencies will be on hand to engage with senior citizens and point them in the direction of how and where to address issues or obtain assistance.
The decision was made to host the fair outdoors this year for a change of pace – and to enjoy the good weather while it lasts.
“We are hosting it at Traders Cove, so we’re hoping for good weather,” she said. “The following Wednesday is the rain date.”
