The Brick Recreation Department has announced that registration is now open for the 22nd season of its Winter Basketball Leagues. The popular program is open to boys in grades 4-12 and girls in grades 4-9, offering a fun and competitive environment for young athletes to develop their skills and enjoy the game of basketball.
According to an announcement from the township, the leagues are a great opportunity for players to learn the fundamentals of basketball, improve their teamwork and sportsmanship, and engage in healthy competition. With experienced coaches and a focus on player development, the program caters to all skill levels, from beginners to seasoned players.
The season will run from Oct. 21 through March 7. The fee is $75 per player. Mandatory assessments for all players in grades 4-8 will be held between Oct. 7 and Oct. 10 to determine team placements.
