Brick Township Mayor Lisa Crate will host the second “Longest Table” event in Brick next month, an opportunity for residents to share a meal with neighbors and officials to exchange ideas about developing and improving the community.
Longest Table will be held Saturday, Sept. 21 at the Havens Farm building on Herbertsville Road from 1 p.m. until 3 p.m. At the event, residents will share a communal meal while having “meaningful discussions about the community,” an announcement said.
The 2nd Annual Longest Table event is free to attend and will be limited to 150 guests. In order to facilitate civically-minded conversations, attendance is limited to guests ages 15 and older.
