Brick Township will host its annual outdoor “Green Fair” this Saturday, featuring interactive exhibits by environmental and coastal organizations, vendors with unique home improvement ideas, and the opportunity to interact with township officials.
The Green Fair will be held Saturday, May 17 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Bob Anstett Cultural Arts Center, near the Brick Historical Society property at 515 Herbertsville Road. This year’s event celebrates sustainability, environmental awareness, and green living with the theme: “Think Green, Save Green.” It will feature a wide variety of eco-friendly vendors, organizations, and interactive displays designed to help you “make smarter, greener choices for your home, your wallet, and the planet,” an announcement said.
The Green Fair will also feature presentations from the senior class environmental projects at the township’s two high schools, as well as door prizes, give-aways, and a grand prize of two rain barrels.
