(Update: This story originally reported the event would be taking place at the Brick Senior Center. Since then, the township has changed the location to Civic Plaza.)
Brick Mayor Lisa Crate is hosting an informal meet-and-greet event aimed at hearing the concerns of the township’s senior community.
Sponsored by Brick Senior Services, residents ages 60 and over are invited to join Crate for “coffee, croissants and conversation.” The event will take place Wednesday, July 2 at 10 a.m. at Civic Plaza, located at 270 Chambers Bridge Road.
“Whether you’d like to share ideas, ask questions or simply learn more about what’s happening in Brick Township, Mayor Crate looks forward to meeting you and spending a meaningful morning together,” an announcement from the township said.
Those who wish to attend are asked to call the Senior Services office at 732-920-8686 to register.
