Brick Township will host a “Car Seat Checkup” event July 1, the township announced this week.
The event will allow parents – or anyone who transports youngsters – to come for a free car seat inspection by a certified Child Passenger Safety Technician. The technicians will also be able to answer any questions from vehicle owners. The event is geared toward parents, grandparents and caregivers. Children do not have to be present.
The “checkup” will be held Tuesday, July 1 from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Brick EMS-Rescue Building, 500 Aurora Place, Brick, N.J.
