Brick officials announced Saturday that Public Works crews would begin salting roads Sunday morning at about 5 a.m., as a light amount of snow has become part of the weekend forecast.
According to the National Weather Service, there is a chance of rain between 3 a.m. and 4 a.m. overnight, changing to snow after 4 a.m. The low will hover exactly around 32 degrees. Calm wind. Little or no snow accumulation is expected overnight. On Sunday, there will be snow, possibly mixed with rain, with a high near 35. About an inch of snow is expected during the day.
Then, Sunday night, snow is likely, possibly mixed with rain before 7 p.m., then changing back to all snow. Precipitation will still be light, however, with another inch to 2-inches of snow falling.
Sunny weather is expected to return Monday.
