A bayfront lot at the terminus of one of Brick Township’s most scenic streets is slated for development, with the township’s zoning board set to consider the proposal next month.
The subject property has no numerical address, however the tax map indicates it is located at the eastern end of St. Lawrence Boulevard on the bayfront. According to a public notice, the owner of the property is seeking to develop the now-vacant parcel with a new residential, single-family dwelling.
The application requires the approval of several variances, including a front setback of 10-feet where 20-feet is normally required; a rear setback of 8.9-feet where 15-feet is normally required; a lot depth of 26.8-feet where 75-feet is normally required; and a minimum lot size of 4,901 feet where 5,000 is normally required.
